The EUI Global Executive Master (GEM) is an advanced degree in public policy designed for current and emerging leaders across sectors. Tailored for professionals working in government, business, and civil society, the EUI GEM offers continuous upskilling opportunities to help participants advance their careers and drive meaningful change.

This two-year, part-time programme allows participants to continue working while pursuing their studies, designing a personalised professional development journey that fits their goals. Learning from leading academics and policymakers, participants gain advanced analytical and leadership skills, along with a global perspective on today’s most pressing policy challenges.

The programme offers four specialised tracks: Energy & Climate, Economy & Finance, Tech & Governance, and Geopolitics & Security. Through state-of-the-art online learning and interactive support tools, participants can study from anywhere in the world.

Over the course of two years, the programme includes more than 25 days of in-person learning, featuring sessions in Florence and immersive executive study visits. These include a focus on strategic foresight in Brussels and a Global Challenge study visit outside Europe, providing participants with first-hand exposure to global policy environments and leadership in action.
