Kozminski University is a business-oriented higher education institution offering a broad range of education programs, holding full academic rights, and considered to be the best business school in Central and Eastern Europe according to the “Financial Times” ranking. We also pride ourselves in having obtained three prestigious international accreditations: AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, held by only 125 business schools worldwide.

Our University was founded in 1993. It is one of the oldest non-public higher education institutions in Poland. The undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students and the participants of postgraduate and MBA programs studying at KU make up a population of 12,000. The population of KU graduates is currently over 70,000.

The “Triple Crown" accreditation for Kozminski University

The international standard of quality, recognized by the business world, is the AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA accreditations, which together form the so-called "triple crown":

• EQUIS – European Quality Improvement System
• AACSB – Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business
• AMBA – Association of MBAs

Each of these accreditations is a distinctive mark of quality business education. Regardless of which country in the world you are in, accreditations confirm the high value of a completed degree.

There are about 15,000 business schools and university economics departments in the world. Out of all of them, only 1% possess the "triple crown" accreditation – Kozminski University is among them. KU has held it since 2012. It was the first and, until 2022, the only university in Poland and the entire region of Central Europe to receive this distinction.

Since 2009, our University has been featured in the "Financial Times" global education rankings. These include:

- percentage of foreign faculty members,
- percentage of academics with a PhD (“doktor” degree),

According to the 2025 Perspektywy MBA ranking, KU’s Executive MBA is the best MBA program in Poland.
