Joel is the Country Digitization Acceleration Leader - Digital Village at Cisco Switzerland with 12+ years’ experience in Smart Cities, Digital Transformation & IoT.
Before, Joel was a Customer Success Manager for high touch accounts and a Technology Strategist for the Corporate Strategic Innovation Group, leading product strategy, & creation in the IoT area. His holistic view of technology and business allow him to create digital strategy roadmaps and new solutions together with startups and blue chip companies.
Previously, Joel was the Head of the Program Management Office, Internet of Everything for Cities in the Smart+Connected Communities organization, managing worldwide engagements of smart urban solutions in Cities such as Nice, Barcelona, Chicago, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Dubai.

Co-author of Cisco’s City Transformational Playbook, a manual for cities to create Digitisation Strategies.
